Norma King was commissioned to write a 50 year history of the Eastern Goldfields Section of the Royal Flying Doctors Service in 1987. “Wings over the Goldfields” was published in 1992. I have just found photos she took in Nov and December 1987 while on tour with the Royal Flying Doctors Service.
They visited many remote areas, including Loongana, Warakuna, Giles, Warburton, Reid, Lake Varley and Blackstone (Papulankutja).
